Senior Strategy Consultant (Experimentation)

What is the job?

We’re lucky to work with fantastic clients such as the BBC, easyJet, AJBell, Hastings Direct, RSA, IHG, Primark, Premier Inn and YOOX Net-A-Porter Group.  Helping them to innovate and continuously improve through research and experimentation, and helping them to mature and scale their experimentation programmes. 

However, Creative CX is growing because we’ve been winning additional clients and doing more great work for our existing clients. This is very exciting as it means it’s time to find a new talented individual to join our wonderful CCX team!

We’re looking for a Senior Strategy Consultant with 5+ years of practical experience in Experimentation, Optimisation, Conversion Rate Optimisation, Customer Experience Optimisation or Product Experimentation.

But to do this we need talented and smart people who can turn customer problems and insights from user behaviour into powerful ideas for optimisation and innovation. 

The Senior Strategy Consultant is key to not only driving significant improvements and actionable learnings, but also in helping our clients to realise the full potential of experimentation. You will be instrumental in providing the direction our clients need for long-term sustainable growth, ultimately enabling them to experiment at scale across their digital estate and beyond.

 

We need you to

  • Lead and manage the experimentation programmes for a handful of enterprise-level clients.
  • Create powerful, high-impact online experiments (A/B/n Tests) for our clients based on evidence from user research and data analysis. We have specialist UX consultants at Creative CX who you can work alongside to carry out the research and uncover the most important problems to solve.
  • Manage the whole experiment life-cycle from research, ideation and test planning, all the way to the analysis and evaluation stage. 
  • Work closely with our in-house developers (client-side and full-stack) and QA team to ensure that A/B/n tests are built to a very high standard.
  • Conduct experiment evaluations using experiment platform metrics and also Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, ContentSquare, Full Story, Quantum Metric, SessionCam etc.
  • Build evidence-based strategic roadmaps for our clients that take into account the overall potential for the customers and the business.
  • Ultimately help our clients realise the transformational power of Experimentation for their organisations, through collaboration, guidance, workshops and training. And then through scaling the programme.
  • Contribute to the rest of the team, the consultancy as a whole and the wider community, through thought leadership. To help move the field of experimentation, growth and digital innovation forward.

You’ll have

  • A knowledge and a passion for Experimentation, Optimisation, Product and Digital Innovation.
  • Exemplary communication and client skills. 
  • Experience in using enterprise-level experimentation platforms (e.g. Optimizely, VWO, Monetate, Google Optimise, Adobe Target, StatSig, Eppo, GrowthBook, ABSmartly etc.)
  • Proficiency in the various types of experiments e.g. A/B/n, Personalisation, MVT, Multi-channel. 
  • A good understanding of the different statistical models applicable to experimentation (Bayesian, Sequential, Frequentist, etc). 
  • Proficiency in using digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.

Nice to have

  • Experience of running collaborative ideation sessions, workshops, and training sessions.
  • A good understanding of server-side experimentation and when this is the most appropriate method for our clients. 
  • SQL, Python and/or R for more advanced analysis.
  • Experience using dashboarding Tools (Tableau).
  • Accreditations or certificates with Experimentation and Analytics platforms as well as any relevant courses in Optimisation or Experimentation.
  • Experience of public speaking or/and contributing to through-leadership activities in other ways.
